The new church auditorium, with a capacity of about 10,000 started one year ago on the instruction of God to enlarge His place of worship. The commissioning is part of the programmes lined up for Primate Ayodele’s annual thanksgiving which started in January and will come to an end tomorrow.

At the commissioning, George Weah described Primate Ayodele as his spiritual father who has shown beyond reasonable doubt that God is involved in his ministry. He expressed gratitude to the prophet for giving him the privilege to commission the house of the Lord while noting that it is indeed a blessing.

He made it known that there would be no other place for him to be than with the people of God to commission the house of the Lord while assuring the church of his unwavering support.

“I am honoured to join you here today for the commissioning of this cathedral and groundbreaking for an estate. This demonstrates our collective gratitude to God for the blessings he has bestowed upon us. The Bible teaches us that it is not enough to follow God’s commands but to be actively involved in the act of teaching others and those who embark on such spiritual journey will be considered great.

Primate Ayodele is a great man of God, there is nowhere else I would rather be today but here with God’s people. This is the least I can give back for all the blessings I have received. I want to assure the congregation of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church of my unwavering support

Primate Ayodele and INRI church, I am excited about this, thank you Primate, my father I sincerely appreciate this, and we are eternally grateful. I dedicate this cathedral in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. May the almighty God bless us.”

Continuing, George Weah presented a gift to Primate Ayodele appreciating him for being a huge blessing to him and several others.

In turn, Primate Ayodele spoke highly of George Weah, while handing over Liberia’s flag to him, symbolizing his return to power. He openly declared the former president as the incoming President of Liberia and also presented him with a gift to appreciate his presence and humility.

Likewise, the former deputy governor of Edo state, Phillip Shuaibu described Primate Ayodele as a man whom he admires a lot. He expressed surprise at the invitation despite not being in power, praising the man of God for showing him true love and giving back to society.

“Primate Ayodele is a man of God that I have always admired and I am very proud and elated to be invited to this programme. It is only when you are in power that you get invitations like this but when this comes even when you are out of power, it shows true love so I want to appreciate the Primate for inviting me to witness this. Just today, he gave scholarships to people, JAMB, and WAEC forms and I thank God and appreciate him for all he does for society and pray that God continues to bless him”

The programme also witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony of a residential estate and mosque which was done by George Weah.

Furthermore, as Primate Ayodele is known for always including philanthropy in any of his programmes, the commissioning went alongside different forms of empowerment for students, business owners, journalists, church members, and widows, to mention a few.

About 25 secondary school students were given JAMB and WAEC forms, while some got scholarships for their University studies. Likewise, two vehicles were given to one church member, Ayo Babalola and a journalist, Ayodele Dedeigbo who is the publisher of towncrier news.

Ukachukwu is a quintessential leader with capacity to fix Anambra Stat

Chief Ambassador Christian Chukwuebuka Nwaobi, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Brighams Suites Ltd, and Binolex Nigeria Wire and Cable, has given his consent to the Governorship ambition of Osumenyi born politician, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma Ndigbo). He called him a quintessential leader who has capacity to fix Anambra State. UCHE DIVINE reports.

The international business mogul, industrialist and hospitality expert, Chief Nwaobi, has described Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) as a leader who can fix Anambra State.

Chief Nwaobi who is the AGBALANZE EZE-UMEAFOJURU of OSUMENYI and EZINIFITE KINGDOM while speaking to the media stated that Anambra State is again presented with another rare golden opportunity to make the necessary change in her political system aimed at righting the wrongs of present and past administrations.

He said that every critical stakeholder in Anambra State, as a matter of sincerity devoid of political exigency and allegiance, knows that Anambra needs help because the once thriving commercial hub has suddenly become a den of not just political misfits but touts and non-state actors have actually taken charge of the towns and villages. “Of course, the state must not continue in obviously calculated political rascality where promises are made and not kept, where roads, hospitals, schools are in disrepair, religious institutions are no longer accorded the respect they deserve, the same with traditional institutions, while security is at its lowest ebb. Anambra can be likened to a man with a very big injury and rather than get a qualified doctor for expert treatment, chooses to bandage the decaying wound, he ends up worsening the condition of the leg.”

He said the promised African Dubai Taiwan which has remained in the realms of unfulfilled prophecy is still fresh in the memories of the people and said never again. “As a leader your words must be your bond, we need a man of integrity, a promise keeper, a humanitarian, someone who is accountable, transparent, and a visionary leader with sound background in grassroots politics, a man who feels the pain and heard the cry of his people and does something immediately, a problem solver, a man that can be trusted with the people's resources and it will not evaporate into the thin air.”

Ambassador Nwaobi in giving his consent to Ukachukwu’s governorship ambition said, “In effect, if truth must be told, Anambra State needs a grassroots leader like Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukoma), a leader who is well endowed with natural leadership qualities, combining it with knowledge of the corporate world where industry and entrepreneurship yield results.

“Of course we the indigenes of Osumenyi, all the towns in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, and the different professionals, captains of industries, have in unison chosen Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma Ndigbo) to occupy Aku Awka, the Government House of Anambra State, and the massive support from us will be unprecedented in the history of the state. As we all know too well, all the businesses and industries in the country are owned by people from this very community and contribute a lot in the development of Anambra State in particular and Nigeria in general,” the Business mogul averred.

Indeed the declaration of interest to run for the Governorship of Anambra State by Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu has sent cold shivers down the spines of politicians who have already declared their enthusiasm to run including the present occupant of the government house in Awka. Truly the trajectory and dynamics of the game has changed, because his vision, his eloquence, his expertise, his knowledge of the problems and the solutions which he has on his palms as a visionary leader, set Prince Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) apart from other contestants. His vision to rescue Anambra from political labyrinth makes other opponents look like Lilliputians.

Those who previously thought that it would be an easy ride for them because of non-credible challengers, have now realised that the lion is in the forest, and they must scamper away. The truth of the matter is that Ndi Anambra are already tired of whoever that is there and they have given their consent to Ukachukwu. They know that Ukachukwu is better positioned to help their destiny by initiating policies that will have far reaching effects on infrastructure, roads, electricity, education, healthcare, environment, and his agenda to realize the various millennial goals meant to ensure our world is a better place.

According to Chief Nwaobi, Anambra State must not be found wanting in the indices of development, adding that Anambrians with their high level intellectual capacity, business acumen, industry, commercial orientation, a heavy player in entrepreneurship, Anambra people deserve better than what they are presently fed with.  He said the man Nicholas Ukachukwu has the key to liberating Anambra from economic, security, educational, and environmental conundrum and quagmire.

Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma Ndigbo) is the owner of Prince and Princess Abuja, a real estate mogul who has done well not only for himself, but also for his community, state and nation. An astute businessman, with wide network in oil and gas, the Osumenyi born political hero has also distinguished himself in the world of politics. Formerly chairman of Abuja Municipal Council, Ukachukwu during his time at the helm of affairs, the Council witnessed the highest level of infrastructural growth and development. As a member of the Federal House of Representatives, Ukachukwu was an active member who was known for his robust contributions to debates and bills, a man who could be described as a goal getter. Success is embedded in his DNA and that is why those who have seen his great work in Abuja and Anambra State and the whole nation are clamouring that he should lead Anambra State come 2025.

Also embedded in his unblemished character is the spirit of humility, which has earned him elevation among and over his contemporaries. Though always in the service of his people, Ukachukwu has not been involved in any controversy, which is a credible signification of his undented lifestyle, call him a neat man you won't be wrong.

It is now public knowledge that Anambra State needs grassroots leader like Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu to clean the mess in Anambra State, the rot and rudderlessness in leadership for which Anambra State has been known for about a decade and it must stop now so that the state will have a breath of fresh air again.

An ambassador of legitimate means, Ukachukwu has demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit which saw him rise from grass to grace, hence engendering the spirit of mentorship in Nigerian youths in general and Anambra State in particular. Apart from his name which rings bell in the whole of Anambra, he has acquired the sobriquet of a grassroots politician, the first of its kind, who combined politics with philanthropy, a man who bear the burden of others as if they are his own, the downtrodden, the widows,  the less-privileged, those with disabilities, the poor and the needy are in the majority of his philanthropic handbook, he takes care of them and provides for them, making him a man with the best platform politically in Anambra State, no politician in Anambra State as of today who can confidently boast of the number of people queuing behind them than Prince Ukachukwu.

A man of sincerity who only promises what he can deliver, as against the most recent political unfulfilled promise of our time, the African Dubai Taiwan which Anambrians are still waiting for its fulfillment. Such grandstanding, political gibbering and loquaciousness is alien to Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma Ndigbo), he promises what he can deliver. Anambra State is yawning for a good leader and the time is now.

Anambra Governorship: Need for APC to hand flag to Ukachukwu, the visionary leader

By Emmanuel Uwadineke:

As the off-cycle gubernatorial election in Anambra State inches closer and individuals make frantic efforts to declare interests under various political parties, it is also essential that Anambrians should also shine their eyes as it were, to be able to enthrone someone with the highest degree of integrity, a visionary leader, a person of leadership excellence and someone who has grip of the dreams and aspirations of the state known as Light of the Nation or Home for All as it was previously call.

Anambra State has seen a lot of unfulfilled promises including but not restricted to the very recent one code named ‘African Dubai Taiwan’, and of course it will be a doom for the commercial and industrial hub of the nation to re-embroil itself in retrogression in all developmental indices due to avoidable mistake of choosing the wrong candidate. Ideally the state needs a man or woman whose words are like the words of the holy book, a fellow who sees black and calls it black and white, white, a promise keeper. Anambra State has seen those who attached prefixes of academic credentials to their names as if such is the only prerequisite for leadership, but end up hoodwink the entire state. Indeed today evidence abound as testament that there is more to leadership of a state as highly advanced as Anambra State than those academic prefixes.

Anambrians have also evaluated the capacities of the various political parties under which umbrellas the state has been governed, many of these parties run Anambra as a captured state or as a property to be bought and sold at their whims and caprices without paying attention to the social contract between those who rule and the led, security of lives and property are now left in the hands of non-state actors and people in the state can no longer sleep with their two eyes closed; roads, water, electricity, hospitals, education, environment are left to rot, as the entire urban cities smell with refuse at every nook and cranny.

No wonder the news of the declaration of interest for the governorship position of Anambra State by Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, has not only elicited infinite jubilation and wide spread acceptability by the people of the state, it has also, of course, engendered hope that Anambra State will rise again. The Osumenyi born Business Mogul and philanthropist is a man of impeccable character, for apart from a thriving business empire, he is a politician of great reputation. His path from grassroots politics to national prominence has positioned him as a serious contender for the office of governor, Anambra State come 2025. Prince Ukachukwu is the only aspirant under APC who has the capacity to dislodge Governor Soludo from the Government House in Awka.

The growing momentum behind Ukachukwu's candidacy reflects a broader desire for change in Anambra's political landscape. His campaign has successfully positioned him as a bridge between the old and new political orders – experienced enough to navigate governmental complexities yet fresh enough to represent change.

Governance is not all about academics, it is about practical. Whatever Soludo has achieved, Ukachukwu will do much more. And his approach to security in Anambra State will shock you, the best of its kind. The kind we have not witnessed in Anambra State, but he can’t introduce it without being at the helm of affairs, he has a lot of approaches to it, even the issue road constructions, he is coming there with a lot of difference. And it applies to other sectors that determine the indices for governance.

Nicholas Ukachukwu is a Nigerian businessman, philanthropist, and politician whose career has spanned decades, cutting across business, real estate, and public service. Known for his political ambition and strong ties to the southeast of Nigeria, Ukachukwu has built a reputation as a persistent and influential figure in the country’s political scene.

With background in Business Administration, the education he received has helped him with the knowledge and tools to navigate the intricacies of Nigerian business environments, especially in the exceedingly competitive real estate and oil sectors.

Ukachukwu’s companies are said to have created numerous job opportunities across the country, contributing to economic growth and development, particularly in southeastern Nigeria.

Ukachukwu’s political career is said to have begun in the late 1990s when he recognized the need to extend his influence beyond business and into the realm of public service. His entry into politics was largely driven by a desire to effect change in his home state of Anambra and improve the living conditions of the people.

In 1999, Ukachukwu contested for and won a seat in the Nigerian House of Representatives, representing the Orumba North/South Federal Constituency of Anambra State under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). As a member of the House of Representatives, Ukachukwu was vocal on issues relating to youth empowerment, rural development, and infrastructure. He used his legislative platform to advocate the improvement of educational facilities and road infrastructure in his constituency.

Ukachukwu’s tenure in the House of Representatives was marked by his commitment to constituency development projects. He launched several initiatives aimed at providing basic amenities to rural areas, including the installation of water boreholes, electrification projects, and the construction of schools. His ability to effectively balance his legislative duties with his business endeavors made him a well-respected figure among his constituents.

Apart from his electoral pursuits, Ukachukwu has played a significant role in national politics. As a member of the APC, he has been involved in shaping the party’s policies, particularly concerning the southeast region. He has used his platform to advocate for better representation of southeastern Nigeria in national governance and to push for federal projects that would benefit his region. His influence within the APC has made him one of the party's key figures in Anambra State.

Ukachukwu’s wealth and business success have allowed him to give back to his community through various philanthropic efforts. He has been involved in numerous charitable activities, ranging from sponsoring educational scholarships to providing healthcare services in underserved areas of Anambra State. Ukachukwu’s philanthropy is driven by a deep commitment to improving the lives of the less fortunate, particularly in rural areas where access to basic services is limited.

One of his most significant contributions has been in the area of education. Ukachukwu has provided scholarships to hundreds of students from low-income families, enabling them to pursue higher education both in Nigeria and abroad. His investments in education are aimed at empowering the youth and equipping them with the tools to succeed in an increasingly competitive world.

In addition to education, Ukachukwu has supported healthcare initiatives, including funding the construction of health centers in remote areas of Anambra. These centers provide essential medical services to communities that would otherwise lack access to healthcare facilities.

Nicholas Ukachukwu’s legacy is one of determination, resilience, and service. From humble beginnings in Nnewi to becoming a successful businessman and influential politician, his story serves as an inspiration to many. His contributions to Nigeria’s real estate and oil industries, coupled with his persistent political career, have positioned him as a significant figure in southeastern Nigeria’s development.

Ukachukwu was Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), and he proved his exceptional administrative acumen by implementing infrastructural projects and social welfare programs that transformed the council. It is said that his leadership style, characterized by the elements of inclusive governance and result-oriented policies, earned him widespread acclaim and established his reputation as an effective administrator.

No wonder the Spiritual Head of Soul Revival Outreach, Nnewi, Anambra State, Prophet Ikechukwu Uzukwu, at a function called Ukachukwu a man with the best political structure in Anambra State under the aegis of Ikukuoma Solidarity. Nicholas Ukachukwu's entrance into the Anambra governorship race is seen as a formidable challenger to Governor Charles Soludo marks a significant shift in Anambra State's 2025 political landscape.

Of course, Governor Soludo has struggled to keep faith with the citizens of the state, it is obvious the people of Anambra state are not satisfied with his style of leadership and are indeed justifiably in need of change of baton as the majority of opinions are not in tandem with his aspiration for a second term in office.  Nobody should also blame them for failure to deliver the promised transformative agenda he sold to Ndi Anambra before his election in 2021.

But Ukachukwu as a seasoned administrator with tested credentials in both the private and public sectors of service will skillfully capitalize on this perception, presenting Ndi Anambra both at home and the diaspora with a clear cut vision and agenda that combines his proven administrative experience with ambitious development goals for the state.

Once given the chance, Education would feature prominently in his agenda, with proposals for technical education reform and university system enhancement drawing from his legislative experience overseeing educational committees. His focus on skill acquisition and youth empowerment programs aligns with the state's demographic realities and the need to address unemployment.

Infrastructure development, another cornerstone of his campaign, builds on his track record of project execution in AMAC and his understanding of federal funding mechanisms gained during his time in the House of Representatives. This combination of experience positions him to effectively navigate both state-level implementation and federal collaboration.

Therefore, I dare say, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu popularly known as Ikukuoma is a political giant, whom providence has not allowed to ascent the thrown of leadership in Anambra State, but he has been a kingmaker in the state. If you trace his history you would see his links in various administrations in Anambra State, but all in good faith.

So he is a sort of a unifier, he is such a person, what I may say, knows something about everything and not everything about something. He is connected to all political parties, he is connected to all senior political actors and junior political actors including the grassroots. And his philanthropic attitude is unequalled.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) should come together and hand over the flag to him. My advice to all of them is to come together as a family and produce a consensus candidate in the person of Nicholas Ukachukwu. Those leaders in APC, even though I am not a member of APC, As I write, I am just an ordinary man, but I have passion for that party, looking at APC from a distance, the leaders need to come together and play in one goal post, and that one goal post is that goal post being manned by Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, and if they take this step it will make so many people, like some of us that are still considering where to enter, once he is there, you will see us en mass.

Brigadier General SOG Aremu honoured by Osina Ancient Kingdom

Osina Town Union (OTU) Lagos Branch made history when on Sunday, December 8, 2024 organised an End of Year Party/Historic Award which was the first of its kind in the annals of the ancient kingdom.

The event which took place at the main Auditorium of Ozubulu Event Centre, Festac Town was not just the gathering of creme de la creme in Osina Ancient Kingdom; it was noticeably a loud recognition of the unique and obvious importance of the community by friends and well-wishers who thronged the venue to show commitment to the cause of the town.

Highlight of the event was the celebration and honouring of a worthy friend of the community, a complete gentleman and General in the Nigerian army, Brigadier General SOG Aremu who was recognized and honoured as the Friend of Osina Ancient Kingdom for his commitment, contributions, mentorship and uplifting of youths of the town in general and Lagos Branch in particular.

Giving the occasion more colour, the Brigadier General graced the award ceremony in company of his friends, they include the Commander 81 Division Intelligence, Brig Gen Hassan, Commander 81 Division Garrison Brig Gen Bukar, and Director Army Works Brig Gen Jungudo, amongst other dignitaries.

Brigadier Aremu was formerly Commanding Officer 14 Field, Nigerian Army Engineers Military Cantonment Army Barracks Onitsha. He was also President Mess Committee Military Cantonment Onitsha where he became friend to Osina Ancient Kingdom through Nnaoma Cyriacus Udum. Presently Brigadier General Aremu is at the Army War College Abuja, Brigadier General S.O.G. Aremu was honoured with double award, one by OTU Lagos Branch and secondly His Royal Highness, Eze O.S. Ben Igwilo, Ezedioramma of Osina Ancient Kingdom as friend of Osina Ancient Kingdom  despite being a Yoruba man.

Of course, friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between two people; it is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an acquaintance or association, in friendship there is intimacy and a fellow feeling. As George MacDonald put it, a true friend is forever a friend, and to Taylor Coleridge, friendship is a sheltering tree.

The mutual and symbiotic friendship between Aremu and Osina people is a demonstration of the imperative of cultural integration and peaceful national co-existence. The relationship between Brigadier General SOG Aremu, a highly detribalized and patriotic Nigerian and the people of Osina Ancient Kingdom is such that should be encouraged in Nigeria especially at this time the country is going through national identity crisis, a time the nation needs patriotism and love among her citizens irrespective of tribe.

Therefore, General Aremu was honoured by the good people of Osina Ancient Kingdom in recognition of his virtuous characteristics as a true Nigerian and a soldier whose detribalized mien is good for emulation; he is a gentleman soldier who has contributed his quota in securing the nation and keeping it habitable. To the youth of Osina Community, Brigadier General SOG Aremu is an institution and a role model.

Chief Chukwudi Emeh (Okadigbo 1 of Osina), while handing over the award to Brigadier General Aremu said, "We are members of OTU Lagos Branch, you are a great friend of Osina Ancient Kingdom, we have observed with interest the long standing friendship between you and our people, all the wonderful things you are doing in our town. Also you know that Lagos State is a pacesetter, the centre of excellence, so OTU Lagos Branch, we decided to invite you today to show appreciation for all you are doing and all that you are still going to do for Osina Ancient Kingdom.

"This is an Award of Merit in the Diamond Award Category, in recognition of your commitment, contribution, mentorship and friendship with Osina Ancient Kingdom. Lagos Branch appreciates you sir.”

Receiving the award, Brigadier General SOG Aremu put on display his characteristically humble mien and disposition by thanking Osina Town Union (OTU) Lagos Branch for the honour and award. He said the award is a concretization of his friendship with Osina people. "This award is a sign of appreciation of our friendship and I will never take it for granted. Thank you so much, I appreciate."

Brigadier general Aremu was so appreciative as he recalled the long standing relationship that have existed between him and the people of Osina Ancient Kingdom right from Onitsha where he served and since then the mutual relationship has been further been upgraded to a level where it is now.

He thanked the people of Osina Town and also appreciated in a special way, His Royal Highness Eze OS Ben Igwilo, Eze Osina of Osina Ancient Kingdom for honouring him with an award as friend of Osina ancient kingdom and also OTU Lagos Branch for honouring him in the Diamond Award Category.

NIDOE debunks Hundeyin’s Conspiracy Theory, reaffirms independence from government

Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation Europe (NIDOE) a non-governmental, non-profit organization, has debunked what it termed the Conspiracy Theory being propagated by one Mr. David Hundeyin.

In a statement signed by Cllr. Harold Ogunfemi, Continental Chairman NIDOE; Hon Michael Otogo, General Secretary, NIDOE and Engr. Shakiru  Oladunjoye, PRO/Assistant General Secretary, NIDOE, the organization debunked Mr Hundeyin’s alleged claim that NIDOE is infiltrated by Nigeria’s National Intelligence Agency (NIA).

It maintained that Hundeyin’s claim is not only unfounded but also a demonstration of a lack of understanding of NIDO’s history, structure, and purpose.

The organization averred that while Mr. Hundeyin was entitled to his opinions, however he is not entitled to misrepresent facts, and therefore debunked the allegations in its entirety.

The statement also stressed NIDOE’s independence and Non-Governmental Status like other NIDO chapters, as an independent, non-governmental organization (NGO), adding that although the formation of NIDO was facilitated by President Olusegun Obasanjo in collaboration with Nigerian embassies, the organization operates independently.

The statement averred that, “The Nigerian government and embassies have, in the past, provided facilitative support to NIDO in recognition of its value to national development. However, this relationship is purely advisory and does not extend to control or interference.”

Speaking further on the autonomy of NIDOE the statement stated that the autonomy of the organization is guaranteed by it constitution: “NIDOE is governed by its constitution, which ensures its independence. Embassies collaborate with NIDO on mutual goals, but NIDO’s operations are self-governed.”

NIDOE therefore emphasized that Mr. Hundeyin’s theory appears to stem from a misinterpretation of a statement on NIDO’s US website acknowledging its origins as a government-facilitated initiative. It however stated that such an acknowledgment does not imply covert control or infiltration, adding that transparency about its origins reflects NIDO’s integrity.

It disclosed that Mr. Hundeyin also failed to provide any names, documented investigations, or verified sources to substantiate his claims. “His allegations are based on conjecture rather than investigative journalism, which undermined the seriousness of his statements.”

NIDOE, while stating that it is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that has consistently upheld its mission to unite and whose work reflects transparency, integrity, and community service, directed her members to ignore such baseless allegations and remain focused.

It said “The NIDOE Executive Council reaffirms its commitment to these principles and encourages all stakeholders to seek verified information and engage constructively with NIDO’s work. Let us not allow conspiracy theories to distract from the meaningful progress we are making.”
