Our leaders must repent and born again - Pastor Muoka

Success Damain:

The General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has advised the nation’s leaders to be born-again as the only panacea for peace and blessings upon Nigeria.

“The leaders should return to God, the absence of God in the nation, the real true God, is the cause of the problem we are having, but if all the leaders in Nigeria could repent and be born again, and give their lives to Jesus Christ, I believe that the problem will be solved because Jesus came to the world with peace and blessings of all kinds.”

Muoka stated this during the Ministry’s Easter Crusade titled ‘God’s Covenant for Peace and Blessings’ on Sunday at the Headquarters of the church in Lagos.

He said no matter the crisis in the country, God has decided to shower the nation with peace and blessings. “This time around we will stand by the peace which Christ brought to us, it is irrevocable no matter what the devil and its co-agents are planning.”

He said “The programme is to mark the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Saviour; His death and resurrection is to ensure our reconciliation with God, and so the blessing that is connected to it is called the covenant of peace and blessings.”

On hate speeches going on in the country he said “One thing that is very certain is that the problem of the nation is not the problem of this nation, it is the problem of the whole world, because this is the end time, Christ is coming at any moment, and if that be the case, what we should do is to mostly pray, call on God for solution because any comment we make that appears that we are blaming ourselves will end up fueling more problems.”

On the upcoming election Muoka advised all Nigerians to endeavor to vote and also pray so as to have a peaceful election.

He thanked the Imo State Government for allocating 600 hectares of land for the construction of the Chosen Crown University “I thank God specially for the government of Imo State that saw the need for proper education for Nigerians, and for the love of the ministry they have given us 600 hectares of land, and we appreciate it so much, and that means we should go ahead and build a university. They also encouraged us by also giving us N10 million. We give God the glory for such gift”

On the importance of the university he said “If you look at it the number of people who did not go to school is more than those who go to school, every year students sit for JAMB, but not all of them are absolved. So we need universities, as Imo State Government remarked that they need up to 20 universities like that.”

On the commencement of evangelization of Northern Nigeria which he promised early this year he said, “It is on course and we are going to the North beginning from this month.”
