Women are not meant to be in authority in the home, men are meant to be in authority, Pastor Ify Agu, Carry me de go my husband house singer

Prophetess Ijeoma Ikweatu, also known as Adazion, is a woman of humble beginning but who has blossomed to greater heights because God equipped her for the task ahead. In this interview with SUCCESS DAMIAN, she reveals that she is a woman of many parts, prophecy, healing, philanthropy and all the more music, as she revealed she is the composer and singer of the popular ‘Carry me de go my husband house’ song: Excerpts:

Can we meet you?

My name is Prophetess Ijeoma Ikweatu Agu, I am from Obeagwu 1 in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State and by the special grace of God I am a married woman. And I am a mother of many children. To the glory of God, it is the lords doing, my area of work,  I am good in singing and worshipping God, in fact I enjoy worshiping God, I enjoy giving him what he cannot give to himself. At the same time I have a ministry, my ministry is in Lagos State, while I have branches all over the world. My ministry headquarters is at 20/22 Lawrence Omagbemi Street, Powerline Busstop, Ejigbo. To the glory of God, it is all about winning souls for Christ, when I say winning souls, I am talking about salvation, because our salvation is very important for the last day so that we will be able to meet God one on one. To the glory of God, healing is also ministered there and God made name for himself, deliverance as well, restoration and revival. We are everywhere, by the special grace of God, our branches are all over the world: Imo State, Abia, Enugu, European countries, US, Asia, and God is really really winning souls for himself to the glory of God.

Tell us the name of your Ministry

The name of my ministry is My Redeemer Liveth Zion Adoration Ministry

You are also known as Adazion, what inspired you to take up that name?

People used to know me with Ijeoma, if you ask my workers they would say, if you are giving prophecy your name is Ijeoma, but when it is singing, Adazion. So people know me more with Sister Ijeoma. But between 2018, 2019, I was just alone and something came to me and say ah, you know you are a daughter of Zion, I just began to answer the name, especially on my Facebook page, Adazion IJ.

How did you start, I mean, how did you get the calling?

When I was growing, by the age of 12 years, I began to hear from God, I began to see that God wanted to make use of me, and my mother revealed the prophecy that was given to them before I was conceived that their first child would work in God’s vineyard. I think the first miracle God used me to do is the miracle of a young man that ate poison, then I was still a child, the first miracle God used me to do was recorded at 17 years, He said bless the water and I blessed the water, when the young man drank from the water he vomited the poison and he was made whole. The second miracle was my younger sister, the same mother, the same father, she had been to different hospitals, and God said bless the water and she will be made whole, and God healed her. The third one was my uncle’s son, he was afflicted with arrow of short life, and he died in my hands, but God resurrected him to the glory of God. At the age of 17 years he began to direct me, that is how I came across blessing water, I bless water a lot, because when I bless it, it does miracle, kidney will be restore, I don’t know how God do it but the only thing is that when I hear the testimonies I like it.

How do you convince an ordinary person that indeed this is a miracle from God?

I have somebody that is a Moslem, he never believed in Christianity but God healed him and made him to believe, but the most important thing is when God did it people don’t have choice than to believe, whether Christian, whether Moslem, when you see what God has done, you will be marveled to believe. By the special grace of God, in my ministry I have Moslems that I impacted and they turned to be Christians when they see what God is doing. So in my ministry I can testify that I have Moslems, even in my online followers, somebody said I am a Moslem, a strong one but this woman made me to believe in Christianity, and by the special grace of God, they have once carried a Moslem who cannot work, came to the ministry, after the prayer, he was healed and he return back again to testify that he came here and God healed him, so when God did his own thing, whether believer or unbeliever, they will know that it is the hand work of God.

With all you have been doing, people don’t know you that much, why are your activities not publicized?

You know nothing announce people than social media or media people, so much that people would go as far as to pay money so that media can carry them, because if you are not carried nobody will recognize you, you will be known in that area where you perform the miracle, but to go worldwide, nobody will know you. Though my ministry has been there, by the grace of God, we are heading to 10 years, and in this 10 years I was not online, nobody knew me online, people started knowing me online when I entered online, I entered online in 2018, December and since then people began to know me as IJ, although most people know me with the song ‘carry me de go my husband’s house’ or ‘Okechi’ so most people don’t know me as a prophetess but it was the song that announced the name, from 2018, 2019 till date my name came to be known because of social media. I believe that when you are growing in the ministry, lack of sponsor, lack of support can make you not to push the word far the way you would want people to know about it, but by the special grace of God, God is making name for himself, people have started knowing about me now that I am in the social media.

What are some of the challenges you have encountered in the mission?

Challenges in this work, I will say financial support was my first challenge, because it came to a point I could not pay my ministry rent, I could not sort out my needs, eat or do some things that I needed, clothe myself, it came to a point that I did not have supporter, I did not have helper, even to wear clothe to attend church, what I would wear people would be laughing at me, look at what sister is putting on, but all that did not make me to change my mind from where I was going, my first goal was just to serve God, win souls for him, so what I wore that time was not really a problem, and I had the challenge of paying my ministry rent, then I was paying N150,000, to pay ministry rent became a problem, nobody to support, nobody to assist, to a point I was given a notice to quit. In short, I was in the middle of nowhere, but today, to the glory of God it is no longer the same, I believe that patience is the key, it took me time to rebuild and God began to bring helpers; that was my first challenge, my first challenge was finance.

Then my second challenge was that, you know in this work there is a lot of temptations, as a young lady, so many temptations, people say, you don’t bring people to your ministry, you need to bring Pastors to minister; it is not that I don’t bring, I bring  when it is necessary. I have had so many challenges, temptations, people would come; they leave the preaching they came for and begin to look for your body. You know you are a woman, tall, somehow God give you small beauty, so you know so many temptations will be coming, and you know the flesh is not strong. I think that is the second challenge.

The third challenge, you know, everybody must not love you, people that do not love you would be looking for a way to bring you down, but to the glory of God, last last, they would still believe there is God.

Some women want to equate themselves with their husbands, you are already a role model, what is your advice to your fellow women out there, especially in the face of the present economic challenges?

To the glory of God I will not say that I am old, I am still a little child, but it is not about little, it is about wisdom and knowledge, to whom much is given much is expected. I will actually say this to women out there, they should be calm, they should know how to tolerate, tolerance is the word, every day is not father Christmas, a man that does not have today may have tomorrow, I don’t believe that money can be an issue in a marriage, a marriage where there is no money you can soak garri and be happy. I love a happy home more than a money home. To every woman there I say they should embrace a honey home than a money home, for honey is just a sweet thing, but money can fade away, but when a home is honey money will come. Do you know some time women have a high luck than men? When you are the woman out there with high luck than your husband or favoured than your husband, don’t take it as an advantage, it was given to you to improve and equip the man, support him with it wholeheartedly. If you have one million, I believe that when I have one million, and my husband is a barrow pusher, I believe that I am very stupid. But I believe that if my husband is equipped, he can help my ministry. So when you have millions and your husband is still a beggar, you are given him one, one Naira, no it doesn’t make sense to me. Our stars are not the same, there are some women that their stars are higher than their husbands’, there are some men their stars are higher than their wives’. So women when you are opportune to be a blessing to your husband, do it wholeheartedly, don’t do it for you to be in authority, for a woman is not meant to be in authority, a woman is meant to be submissive in her home, and the man is meant to be in authority. In some cases, some women, their husbands do not have and they do not have, just manage it, it is a matter of time. I used my family story as an example, we suffered as we were growing up, eight people living in one room, it was not easy for my parents, to eat was a problem, but one thing our mother taught us is that what she have, we should be satisfied with it, we should not look at what other people have, and we lived with it and we grew with it. To the glory of God, God later changed the table, today we are okay, not that we have everything, but we are fine. We are no longer dying in hunger like before, but though we were dying in hunger we did not steal. My mother did not push my father to go and steal, my mother did not end up sleeping with men so as to put food on the table, so they should calm down, life is stage by stage. There are so many women today I want to still let you know, if your husband did not make it your children will make it, that is how destiny is, what your husband did not give you, your children will give you. It takes only patience, just keep pushing. In short, keep praying for your husband, be advising your husband and keep encouraging him that things will be better, it will make your husband not to put hand where he should not put hand, he will know that this my wife is a supportive wife, supportive is not all about money, but by your words of encouragement, and by the special grace of God, at the end of the day this family will live together to say, indeed this is the finger of God.

How do you touch lives through your ministry?

I will say it is by the grace of God. Naturally I am the type of person that has soft mind. I don’t like to see people cry over what they need. I can give you my last card, naturally, apart from having a ministry. Then having a ministry is a plus to it. I will say in my ministry I have widows forum where I take care of widows, give them food, I can go to hospitals, pay for people that are in the hospitals that do not have money to go home, discharge them to go home. I visit prisoners, I go to motherless baby homes, orphanages. Then individuals that have house problems, I can support with what I have. If I have, maybe needs of 250,000, 200,000, 300, 000, I can help, but if I see, it is up to 1million, I did not have, I can give half of what I have to support, by the special grace of God through the help of my members all over the world, not by my power, because who I am today is through their assistance and their support. So through their support I am helping out the little way I can.

And by the special grace of God, I just woke up one day and said I want to build a free school for children of the widows, and I bought the land, that was last year, but I have not build it, because I am not financially capable now to do it, buy I will do it because it is the covenant that I have signed with God, to give them a good life.

I bought the land in Owerri, Imo State, when I have the money I will start it, I want to start, not that if I call people now they will not support, but I want to lay the foundation before people can come in, so I want to have the money and lay the foundation, and now tell people for people to see before they come in, and make it a reality.

How is your programme like?

My service is on Thursdays, whether I am there or I am not there, because at times I travel, every Thursday is my midweek service, then every second Friday and third Friday in a month is my night vigil, I don’t do Sunday church, on Sunday I go to my church.

Why do you not have a church?

I told God that since you want me to work for you, I want to work for a prayer section, and not a church section, I was born and raised in Catholic, I am a catholic. So every Sunday I go to Catholic church, others go to their various churches.

Pastor Muoka calls for release of Nnamdi Kanu, as Gowon declares The Lord’s Chosen Church beacon of hope

The General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to release Nnamdi Kanu, Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Pastor Muoka who made the call on Sunday, at the headquarters of the church at Ijesha, Lagos State, at the two-day power-packed international crusade of the church which has the theme, ‘God That Does What No Man Can Do,’ said that if Kanu is released peace will return to the region.

Muoka stated “I want to let you know, for peace to reign, for us to have peace in that part of the nation, because there is a lot of killings, a lot of calamities as a result of this situation, I want to appeal, and plead passionately that God almighty will touch the Federal Government to release him. We are pleading that God almighty will touch them to release him, so that we will have peace in the land, for progress and unity. So I want to personally plead that by the grace of God that that should be done so that we can have peace in the east.”

On Christian persecution in Africa, he said “All I want to let you know is that persecution helps even to further the gospel, persecution is a necessity for the church and God has made it that all that shall live a godly life in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. So persecution is inevitable unless you are not ready to live a godly life, if you are ready to live a godly life God allows it and in time of persecution the gospel spreads more than when there is no persecution.”

On the issue of collapsed bridge at Ijesha bus-stop, a very strategic bridge leading to the Lords Chosen Headquarters, he said “That particular footbridge is a strategic one because more people cross through it to go to FESTAC, Ijesha, and here also we have our church and many other churches. Right now so many lives are being lost. We are pleading with the Federal Government to please come to our aid and put the bridge in order so that the lives of Nigerians using that problematic, broken bridge can be saved.”

He added that on the part of the church they would continue to pray for the Government. “We will continue to pray for the government, we will continue to pray for our nation and we would pray for our rulers. The duty of our rulers is to take care of us, so the bridge should be taken care of.”

Further he advised Nigerians, he said, “Nigerians should draw close to God, Nigerians should fear God; Nigerians should know that it is only God that can bring peace and unity and progress, let the whole Nigeria fear God and live their lives according to the will of God. Let them be born again and be saved, and be ready for the rapture because Jesus is coming very soon, let them give their lives to Jesus Christ and they shall be saved, and we shall make heaven at last, that is my wish and that is my prayer and my preaching that all souls should be saved.”

Former Head of State of Nigeria, General Yakubu Gowon who was represented by Pastor Samuel Sanusi, Secretary General, Bible Society of Nigeria said, “I received with joy the gracious invitation to participate as a special guest in the two-day power packed international programme, titled ‘God that does what man cannot do’. First and foremost I will like to express my profound gratitude to Pastor and Pastor Mrs Lazarus Muoka, the Founder/General Overseer of this large, vibrant spirit-filled assembly.

“The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival church is a vibrant ministry, inspired by the Holy Spirit to bring the knowledge of salvation to all the kings and their subjects, the masters and their servants, to the rulers and all that are being ruled all over the world, with a mandate to win millions of souls for Christ, has been a beacon of hope, spiritual enlightenment and exemplary service for our nation. It is my sincere belief that your dedication, commitment and unwavering faith have touched countless lives and I am inspired by your relentless pursuit of spreading God’s divine message,” he said.

Umenzekwe eulogizes Fashola @60, urges him to keep serving Nigeria, humanity

Chief Modestus Umenzekwe (Eze Chimereze, Onwa Achina), a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in this interview showers encomium on His Excellency Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) who will clock 60 years on June 28, 2023. He urged him to continue with his positive service to the nation and humanity at large. Excerpt:

Our good friend, His Excellency, Babatunde Raji Fashola, will be 60 on June 28, 2023, tell Nigerians how you feel

Thank you so much. First of all, birthday celebration is a day to rejoice with a particular individual the handwork of God to have created him or her. It is a day God acted in a special way to create mankind on earth. So we owe God a lot of gratitude for that act; because you know, God after creating everything, according to our own Bible, said on the sixth day, let us create man, in our own image, and from that date he started creating humans, in the book of Genesis.

The first instruction God gave human being is to go and multiply, that is the first instruction God gave man, and you know after creating Adam, He saw that Adam needed a helper, he made him to sleep, and out of his so many ribs, God created Eve, and that is how we came to have man and woman. Along the line they erred and ate the forbidden fruit, according to our Bible. But then God did not wipe out human beings, he kept on creating, reproducing people through man and woman, and that is how all of us came into this world.

Therefore our friend, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola (CON, SAN) came out from a particular man and particular woman on a particular day, 28th June, 1963. That was a day a trail blazer in Yoruba land and Nigeria was born, that was a day a legal giant was born, that was the day a giant achiever was born, that was a day a perfect gentleman was born, that was a day a nation builder was born, that was a day a detribalized man was born, that was a day a man endowed with Queens English, academic prowess was born, that was a day a man with the heart of Gold as born, that was a day a Star Boy of Asiwaju’s administration in Lagos was born, that was a day a hero of Buhari’s Administration was born, that was a day the man that Buhari used to develop the six geopolitical regions of this country was born, that was a day the present chairman of Shelter Afrik was born, that was a day a man we are looking up to now to assume another duty in the government of our revered Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was born, it is a day of joy, and one thing significant about it is that it coincided with Sallah celebration. That means God is with him. And we are looking up to him for more things to come out from him, age is on his side, 60 years, he is just a young man, so he has a lot to give this country, he has a lot for mankind.

You see. Look at what he said, he said, what gives me joy is that when people come to my office, with their burden, when they are going out they go out with smile on their faces, which means he is a problem solver, he is a human developer, he is a helper, he doesn’t hold his experience just to himself or to his family alone, he has his two hands open, ready to welcome anybody both high and low, big and small, just name them. So I give God the glory that on 28 of this month he will be 60, he is now an elder statesman, a leader of thought, he is a community leader, even though he started this assignment as a very young boy but he has now gotten to the crescendo, his development, his achievement came with what we called geometrical progression. To God be the glory.

Fashola just concluded his assignment as the Honourable Minister of Works and Housing under Buhari’s administration, and Tinubu’s administration is here, Fashola still has a lot of youthfulness in him; do you think he should still be coopted into the current administration to continue his good work to the nation?

When you say coopted, unless I am not understanding the meaning of that word, when you say coopted, he has never been a floor member in the administration of this country and in nation building, he has been part and parcel of building this country. So I am not very comfortable with the word coopted. Rather I am more comfortable that he has to continue in the job, it may not be the same portfolio, but any other one, because Nigerians are looking up to him, the six geopolitical zones of this country are waiting. Although by his nature, the way I understand him, I might be wrong, he might say, let me rest having served this country for 24 years at a stretch, but then people have been President at older age in this country and many other counties of the world, look at Joe Biden, he started at 79 in America and he is still going to contest. Then a man at 60, he doesn’t even look sixty when you look at him, very simple, he is likely to say no, but we are saying that he has to continue so that the downtrodden will not feel alienated, because Fashola is a stabilizer, give him any assignment the will deliver, very silent. You don’t see him on the pages of newspaper or television, he is a silent achiever, and I believe that our big Oga, the political colossus, the political giant, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR would like to retain him by his side in any capacity he deems fit to work from within and not from without to make sure this country remains as one, remains united.

Let me tell you, try it, if you like, try it, when the man appears to be accepted in almost all the parts of the country, I used almost because, if I say all the parts of the country one might look at it as an exaggeration, go to Kano and mention his name, I was in Kano some weeks ago, in the course of our discussion, I threw in a spanner, let me know what they feel about the man, these people rose in anger, they said that man…We can’t afford to miss him. Go to Katsina the same thing, go to Maiduguri, the same thing, go to Calabar, the same thing, go to Warri, the same thing, you have the same thing. Then go to the Southeast, even with all the complaints and all that, Fashola is widely accepted.

When the present Governor of Anambra State ascended the throne, he invited Fashola to come and give the government staff tutorial, and he graciously accepted that and came. Then the best bridge in Africa, from my own judgement, the Second Niger Bridge, otherwise called President Muhammadu Buhari Bridge, was done by him. And a lot of other things. Zik’s compound was a thick bush, but he cleared it with the approval of the then president, Muhammadu Buhari, and a lot of other things he did across the whole country. So many parts of the country still yean for him. I know that some people will say is it only Fashola, why this man? I want to appeal to him to keep silence on those things, because it is the tree that bears fruit that you throw stone in order to get the fruit, but when a tree doesn’t bear fruit, you simply pass and go your way, so he should not be bothered, and if everybody is singing his slogan, go and  ask some questions, jealousy must be there, unnecessary attacks must be there, but the generality of the people are applauding him, if he let him come down from his car and work on any street, you will see what will happen, you will see that Nigerians will carry him shoulder high, that does not mean he is perfect, even in our church, the catholic, the Holy Sea is a human being, he can err, that does not mean that all he did are very very correct. But when you scored 80% it is distinction. I think he has scored more than 80%, he has made distinction, to God be the glory,

Your prayer for fashola

Yes, I can only pray for him, longer life, health, let God help him to keep helping people, keep doing good for humanity and for this country, and at the end of his life when he must have spent his days on earth, may Allah receive him. In our own church they told us Metusela was 939 years, Gad was 400 years, Abraham was 197, Moses was up to 120 years, therefore, I wish him long life in good health.

Outstanding academic performances: Chief Imam, Lasu Mosque, calls for massive appreciation

The Chief Imam, Lagos State University Muslim Community Mosque, Ojo, Professor Amidu Olalekan Sanni had charged the government and public to celebrate academic excellence more than entertainment artists.

Prof. Sanni made the wake-up call on Friday, 16th June 2023 at the LASU Muslim Community Mosque, Ojo Campus, at the Special Jum'at Service as part of the listed events for LASU's 26th Convocation Ceremonies and 40th Anniversary of the university during the Muslim Cleric's Jum'at sermon.

This clarion call was made as a result of the outstanding success ever to be achieved in the history of LASU i.e. academic success of the *Best Graduating Student of LASU for the 2021/2022 Academic Session', Miss. Aminat Imoitesemeh Yusuf from the Faculty of Law with the perfect CGPA of 5.0*, which the Chief Imam believed wasn't well publicised and celebrated.

"It is indeed apparent that the society we live in celebrate mediocrity more than academic excellence", he expressed sadly.

Prof. Sanni, during the Special Jum'at Service substantiated his sermon by citing Qur'an 11:41, 17: 80, 31:12-28, and some Hadith (wise sayings of the Prophet, Muhammad SAW), while admonishing the graduating students and the 'staylites' to be more prayerful, dedicated, committed and focused as they move on in life. His words, "remember to bless your parents with your resources and prayers as they did laboured for your success, discover yourself, discover your potentials and more importantly, your talent", he advised.

"Make humility your watch word, being respectful to everyone you come in contact with and putting on an heart-warming smile is a great tool to success", he added.

On wealth acquisition, the cleric rebuked graduands and other students with the mindset of illegal and dubious wealth acquisition to desist from such in order not to incur the wrath of Almighty Allah." he said.

"On students' and staff welfarism, it is imperative that the University Management looked into extortion, sex for marks/promotion and other vices, " he concluded.

She warned impostors and impersonators, parading themselves as staff of the University, who go about defrauding unsuspecting members of the  public, claiming they could help them secure admission, to stay clear of LASU.

She warned their collaborators within the University to desist from such unwholesome practice.

"As Muslims and Christians, we need to be God fearing in all our dealings with our08 students and fellow junior/senior colleagues". Madam VC charged.

She went further, "my administration has zero tolerance for sexual harassment towards our students and fellow members of staff, it's high time we had a change of heart", she declared.

"As from next week, there will be complaint boxes mounted in every corner of the campuses where you can drop your sexual harassment and gender based violence case reports which would be promptly and professional treated", she added.

"Our students should be able to be proud of their certificates' genuineness and not sex-for-mark stained certificates. Talking about sexual harassment, my administration is empowered by the Governing Council to deal with SGBV erring members of staff", she concluded.

Encomiums as SCOAN marks 6oth posthumous Birthday of their Founder, Prophet TB Joshua

Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Ikotun, Lagos State International Headquarters of the church celebrated the 60th posthumous birthday of the Founder, Prophet TB Joshua, also known as the man in the synagogue.

The man all agreed was an engine of love was born on the 12th of June 1963 and died on June 5, 2021, but one thing is clear to his followers, the man in the Synagogue is not dead but has simply climbed to a higher realm still performing and empowering his members and the leadership of the church as they propagate the word of God and being a blessing to humanity.

The church was full to the brim as men and women across the globe attended the birthday church service; many from United Kingdom, Ireland, Russia, Australia, Ghana, United States of America (USA), South Africa, Belgium, Togo, Benin Republic, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Botswana, India, Kenya,  among other countries.

A Flutist, Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli, on his part eulogised TB Joshua saying ‘TB Joshua taught me to stay humble, give and believe in God and in the Lord Jesus. He was a wonder to many. TB Joshua still blesses us from heaven. He is part of our lives and we all miss him every day’.

A representative of United States (US), Kinnack Emmanuel, said: “I received Jesus from Emmanuel TV, the prophet was more than a prophet; he was a teacher, coach, pastor and friend to everybody. June 12 is a special day on my calendar because that is the day we celebrate a great gift the Lord gives the world. I believe he is here with us and he will always bless us, we miss him so much.”

For Prophet Joshua Iginla added “We are not only celebrating a man who preaches but a man who has a spirit of love and he is a legend.”

Many others variously described TB Joshua as “a man who changed the world for good,” while another said “it is a day to celebrate our wonderful brother.” Indeed another said “Joshua was a gift to our generation, he lived a life of selfless giving.” Then an Indian representative at the event described TB Joshua as “an engine of Love,” while a woman from Russia testified that “TB Joshua taught me that it is possible to live a Christ-like life.”

Highlights of the celebration include melodious renditions from the SCOAN Choir, opera performance; classical and traditional gospel music; drama presentations, youth choreography, birthday wishes from the guests, cutting of posthumous birthday cake,  among other electrifying moments.

A brief biography of TB Joshua:

Born on 12th June 1963, in a village in Agidi-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, a long-prophesied birth occurred in the family of Pa Kolawole Balogun and Madam Folarin Aisha Adesiji Balogun. It was the birth of a special baby boy name Temitope--special because he had stayed 15 months in the womb and because he had supernaturally escaped death from flying rock eight days later. More importantly, as had been predicted by an Arigidi warrior and farmer a century earlier, Temitope was special because he indeed turned out to be a great man who exuded exceptional charisma, authority and divine grace.

However Temitope journey to success was a tough and tortuous one. The incident that nearly killed him in infancy actually sent his mother into coma. Shortly afterwards, his father passed on and the burden of raising the children fell on his poor mother, who managed to send him to St. Stephen’s Anglican Primary School in Arigidi, where he became a leader of the Christian Fellowship. There, ‘Small Pastor’ had divinely retrieved a cutlass from a rampaging lunatic. Temitope continued to face fierce adversity from poverty, dropping out of college after college until he made a bid for the military, which also failed.

Years later, however, he discovered his true purpose in life after 40-day, 40-night fast backed with fervent prayer. From that experience emerged the Synagogue, Church of all Nations in 1989, with eight members led by Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua. Like everything else about him, the SCOAN went through divine processing from its initial forbidding swampy location in Agodo-Egba to today’s Ikotun, Lagos in 1994.

For three decades, the SCOAN has remained a place of refuge for the world. During the period, TB Joshua married Evelyn Joshua, a marriage that produced three wonderful children: Serah, Promise and Heart.

Highlights of the celebration include melodious renditions from the SCOAN Choir, opera performance and classical, drama presentations, youth choreography, birthday wishes from the guests, cutting of posthumous birthday cake,  among other electrifying moments.
