In her address to the

told the students to understand all they have been taught and try to make the
school proud. She also thanked the sponsor, LG Electronics for the prizes given
to the students. “The children's award is determined by how well they did in
school and our goal is to raise a complete child.”
LG Electronics
distributed a range of cutting-edge products to well-deserved students. The
products include; LG TV, Soundbar, Refrigerator, and Microwave Oven. Presenting
the gifts to the students for their academic excellence, Public Relations

its dedication to making a positive impact in communities nationwide.
LG Electronics'
commitment to education extends beyond product donations. The company has been

Former Commissioner
for Youth and Sports Development in Lagos State, Segun Daodu, represented by
Damilola Sonayon James said “Social media is a direct and indirect channel of
communication, depending on the intention behind it. We are living in a world
with decent technology. It has changed a lot of things – how we relate with one
another in the entertainment industry, communication and relationships, even
the economy, and the vocation system.
“As leaders, we must
live with the right narrative. Use social media to better your life, showcase
your skills and talents and improve on your immediate environment to positively
impact the social life of others.”
“I urge young people to begin to see how they
can explore social media in a constructive way, in a more intentional way so
that they have something they are driving at, as opposed to using it to
consume. They should use social media to influence, impact and change narrative
of how Nigeria is perceived of today,” she said.
The students made
several presentations in spoken word, Choreography and debate alongside invited
schools, after which Dansol High School’s cultural troupe mesmerized the
audience with an energetic dance display.
