Prof. Olatunji-Bello marks Second Year in office with unveiling of special edition of Lasu Info Magazine

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, on Friday, 27th October 2023, unveiled the latest edition of LASU-INFO Magazine - the 2nd Anniversary Edition, published in commemoration of her second year in office as Vice Chancellor. 

Joined by other members of the University Management, the 2nd female Vice Chancellor of the university was in a jubilant mood as she gave glory to God for the modest achievements that her administration has made in the last two years, the records of which are contained in the magazine. 

"We decided that there would be no elaborate ceremony this year in the face of the economic realities. But we produced this magazine to put on record some of the things we have been able to achieve as an administration with the support of all our stakeholders", she said while flipping through the 44-page, full-colored magazine, published by the Centre for Information and Public Relations (CIPR).

Other members of the Management and functionaries of the university who were at the Vice Chancellor's office during the unveiling showered congratulatory messages on the Vice Chancellor for her impactful leadership that has raised the profile of the university in the period.  They prayed for the continued success of the administration.

Recall that the Governor of Lagos State and Visitor to the University, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu, appointed Prof. Olatunji-Bello as the ninth (9th) substantive and second (2nd) female Vice Chancellor of the 40-year university on the 21st, September 2021.
