Speaking further Bakare said “I took over eighteen (18) Diploma Programmes when I assumed office on April 26, 2022. Following a thorough assessment of these programmes, I discovered that some of the courses previously approved by the University Senate were no longer offered, which prevented our internal Diploma Programmes from running at their full potential. But thanks to the strategic efforts of the LASU Consult Limited Team, the affected Departments, and our valuable partners, the number of Certificates and Diplomas has increased to eighty-five (85) cash-cow courses, including the Diploma in Computer Science and the Diploma in Data Science commencing from the 2023–2024 Academic Year.”
