Igboburuotu celebrates Ugodiebube on his birthday

What transpired at Rainbow Hall, Ijegun Lagos after the monthly meeting of Igboburuotu Social Club of Nigeria on Saturday, June5, 2021, was indeed love in action.

Immediately after their meeting the atmosphere in the hall transformed into electrifying fun, laughter, merriment as the club celebrated one of their illustrious member, Chief Ugo B. Mbewu (Ugodiebube) on his birthday.

Mbewu, one of the very prominent and active members of Igboburuotu whose presence in the club has made huge difference, has contributed his quota to ensure the growth and development of the club which major goal was built on welfare and philanthropy, helping the downtrodden, widows and less-privileged in society. 

While the celebration was on, members Igboburuotu exchange banters and clink glasses, pop champagnes, making merry as a mark of honour to celebrate Ugo who clocked 51.

A motivator per excellence, Ugodiebube 1 of Umuesi, Nnayelugo 1 of Ntueke, Ezeugo 1 of Ogwume Autonomous Community all in Ideato South Local Government of Imo State, the Mbewu known as an epitome of love and philanthropy has enough drinks to carter for the days’s celebration.

Speaking to the press he said, “I am a year older today and I am happy, last year I clocked 50 and I celebrated it in a big way, then this year I decided to celebrate with my people, Igboburuotu. I am so excited.”

Ugo who said he is also a member of six social clubs said he has celebrated with all of them “I am in six clubs and they have all celebrated it with me, it is a thing of joy.”

He also is spoke glowingly about Igboburuotu, he said that the social club is a family to him, “I want to appreciate Igboburuotu. When I did my Mum’s burial they all participated, I assure them and I am convinced that I will remain with the club as long as the club continues to exist.
