The Igbo Lawmaker in the Lagos State House of
Assembly, stated this during an interactive session with some Igbo stakeholders
in his Oshodi/Isolo Constituency, while speaking to journalists, Idimogu said,
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a great achiever based on records of his
achievements as the Governor of Lagos State, and that he is the most qualified
person for the nation’s number one seat in the next general elections.
Speaking further, Idimogu called on all the Igbos
in the country, irrespective of party affiliation to massively support and vote
the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed
Tinubu in the forthcoming general elections, noting that his wealth of
experience, doggedness and sincere of purpose are needed to drive our country
forward.
The lawmaker further said that everybody and every
zone has a right to aspire for any position in 2023, but that by his
assessment, the best person to rule Nigeria from 2023, irrespective of where he
is coming from, is Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
"Tinubu has built and developed people all
over the country, including Hausa, Ibo, and Yoruba. For me, he is a
detrabilised Nigerian and I have not seen anybody that would be like him. He
remains the best candidate to be the next President of Nigeria"
“He was once a Governor and senator. If you put
him on that seat, he would replicate what he did in Lagos to the Federal level
within a short period of time in the office. Asiwaju, has international
connections and that is what a president needs. People that would come and
assist in building your country to the envy of other countries” Idimogu added.
