Sanwo-Olu has done well, he deserves Second Term, Umenzekwe implores Lagosians …Says vote for the Governor is vote for experience and continuity

Chief Modestus Umenzekwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and member, Federal Housing Authority (FHA) has implored Lagosians to reciprocate the good works of the Executive Governor of Lagos, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu by voting for him massively for the second time.

Umenzekwe who spoke to journalists in Lagos on Thursday, March 9, 2023, maintained that a vote for the Governor is a vote for experience and continuity.

He added that he has no doubt in his mind that Lagosians will give Sanwo-Olu who is the APC candidate, bulk vote on Saturday, March 18, 2023, adding that Sanwo-Olu has ensured that there is ease of doing business in Lagos.

“I have no doubt in my mind that Lagosians will give massive votes to the governor, there is no doubt about that, those that are doing legitimate businesses in Lagos would confirm to you that this administration has made business environment in Lagos very peaceful. There are a whole lot of difference between legitimate business and those engaged in criminality. If you are in Lagos and you are doing legitimate business, Lagos is a fertile ground for growth for you.”

Umenzekwe disclosed that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is not a noise maker, hence he carries out his responsibility as a matter of statutory engagement. “Do you know how many roads are being constructed, going on simultaneously in this Lagos as I am talking to you now? Go to Ikeja, look at the link bridge between Ikeja Under and Agege Motorway, go to Yaba, go to Oyinbo, Second Rainbow, massive bridges. In all the local governments and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state, he is doing more than two roads at the same time; that is Sanwo-Olu for you.”

He added that the governor showed the stuff he is made of at the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. He said “Governor Sanwo-Olu was on his toes to make sure that nothing went wrong during the covid through his vists to the isolation centres, working hand in hand with NCDC, not minding if he was infected, of course, he was indeed infected and isolated, but God healed him. He was issuing guidelines, updates in order to save the lives of Lagosians.

“So let us not forget in a haste and make sure we come out en mass on Saturday, March 18, 2023 and vote for the amiable governor for his good works. Are you Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Edo, Delta, Nupe, Itshekiri, wherever you reside in Lagos there is a polling unit there, go and vote for the Governor Sanwo-Olu, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of APC,” Umenzekwe advised.
