Buhari holds secret meeting with El Rufai and other Northern Governors

President Muhammadu Buhari has held a secret meeting with Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai and other state governors from the Northern region.

The meeting held at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa after the Juma'at prayers on Friday, January 12.

The meeting was reportedly held behind closed-doors at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja just minutes after the Jumaat prayers.

The governors who were at the meeting include those of Kaduna,

Yobe, Kogi, Niger, Plateau, Adamawa and Kano states.

Addressing State House reporters later, Kaduna state Governor Nasir El-rufai, said they had no apology meeting the president over the 2019 presidential election.
