Mbaise people have gone into celebration over the resignation of their embattled Bishop, Peter Okpalaeke.

In a telephone chat with a Reverend father (name withheld), he said the celebration was incomparable.

“The celebration here is incomparable, immediately the news of Okpalaeke’s resignation filtered in, the entire diocese was thrown into celebration, for one, it came when we were not expecting it.

“Parishes, families and individuals who can afford it have killed cows, while others are doing one thing or the other to mark the victory in Mbaise,” the Reverend said.

He further stated that with this victory, it is another precedent for the Papacy in the appointment of Bishops, not just in Africa, but in the world as a whole.

Msgr. Peter Ebere Okpaleke, and at the same time appointed His Exc. Msgr. Lucius Iwejuru Ugorji, Bishop of Umuahia as Apostolic Administrator.”

Muoka set to evangelize Northern Nigeria as testimonies trail ‘From Sorrow to Joy’

Not a few are still astounded or flabbergasted by the wonders of the God of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement. The church continues to witness thousands of new converts and millions of miracles globally on daily basis. The rising profile of the church continued on Saturday and Sunday, February 3 and 4 during a crusade titled “From Sorrow to Joy” at the International Crusade ground, Ijesha, Lagos. SUCCESS DAMIANreports.

This year’s crusade “From Sorrow to Joy” organized by The Lord’ Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement was special not just in the size of miracles witnessed, but also in the attendance which was unarguably the highest in recent times as the crusade dome was filled to the brim, while the entire open space was occupied by people who seek solutions to life inexplicable problems, an eloquent testimony that there is God in The Chosen.

The ace Evangelist and General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka who declared that evangelization of Northern Nigeria will commence next month, and inaugurated what he called The Chosen Partners, said many have gone from one sorrow to the other because they are in search of solution without the knowledge and personal relationship with God.

He said that it is by the Lord’s mercy people are not consumed, saying “whatever be the cause of your mourning and sorrow shall be turned to Joy.”

Muoka reiterated that “God shall put a new song in your mouth, and you shall have total transformation. You cannot come here in vain, all my proclamations and all my pronouncements must come to pass in your lives. God see you today, your health, finance and education.”

Muoka stated that God is in the business of healing his people, adding that Jesus Christ does not say sorry, but finds solutions to problems, and “so whatever that cause you sorrow will not follow you home, be it barrenness, delay in marriage, unemployment, but joy will be your portion.”

Pastor Muoka stated that power belongs to God and “He will invest his power in your lives.

“A woman was confirmed not having a womb by 52 different doctors, but she came here and through prophetic declaration she received a new womb and now she has her fourth child and a pregnancy; it is a prove of God’s raw power. Your sickness is an advertisement to advance the kingdom of God”
He said “Any statement I make concerning you, hold it as your own property.”

He therefore advised the people to make great effort to resist sin and reconcile with God because sin opens the door for the devil to operate. “Only sin can hinder your miracles. A Christian is not a sinner and a sinner is not a Christian.

“The unrighteous will never enter the kingdom of God. Fraudsters, hired assassins, terrorists, those who fight their spouses, those who drink hot drink or smoke cigarette, cult people, homosexuals, lesbians and others will not make heaven,” Muoka preached.

Testimonies on the first day include that of a young man who specialized in assassination, but was arrested the by the Holy Spirit the very day he went to assassinate a chosen. Woman Leader, Lord’s Chosen in Jamaica testified that Christians are now wedded with the bible in her country since the coming of the Lord’s Chosen and cancer rolled away after praying in the church, Deaf and dump for 28 years healed and 58 years arthritis rolled away among other miracles

The Lord’s Chosen: ‘From Sorrow to Joy to impact Holy Ghost baptism’

 Success Damian

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement has disclosed that this year’s edition of the church’s crusade tagged ‘From Sorrow to Joy’ will bring about Holy Ghost Baptism.

In a press release by the Public Relations Officer, Pastor Chidi Louis, the programme which will be presided over by the icon of revival evangelism, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, will witness “salvation, sanctification, Holy Ghost baptism, deliverances from spiritual limitation, demonic possession, barrenness of the womb, intellectual and financial barrenness, it will also address physical challenges such as paralyses of all kinds, diseases, sicknesses, economics and political problems.”

Scheduled to hold on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th February, 2018 at The Chosen Revival Ground, along Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, by Ijesha, Bus Stop, Lagos, by 8 a.m daily, the program is inclusive irrespective of faith as it is inspired by the Holy Spirit to position the participants and by extension the nation to overcome the challenges of the year.

Chidi said “God is visiting us this time with abundant of provision that will bring complete joy in our lives this year. By this visitation we are assured the traces of sorrow that have provoked emotional, political and social stress be wiped away. Through this visitation yokes shall be broken; diseases shall be cured, sicknesses shall be healed and the afflicted shall be delivered. And God shall release the dew of unspeakable blessing upon us and by extension the entire country. Comes this weekend as we go to God in prayer during the crusade, all sorrows shall be turned to joy.

“We assured no participant will go home empty handed because God Almighty has determined to turn sorrow to joy on that day. He has seen the hopelessness the people of this country are subjected to and therefore has scheduled the crusade to turn all their sorrows to joy. Without doubt, there shall be rain of blessing of joy, Chidi stated.”

According to him, it does not matter the nature of sorrow you are experiencing now or how long you have been in that sorrowful situation or who is behind it, the assurance is that God has set aside the two days to intervene in the affairs of His people as He did in the bible days. He will in the two days arise even in the political, security and economic circumstances of this country and douse the tension that has enveloped the horizon of the country hitherto.

It is never the will of God that the nation should be under the present economic, social and political turmoil that have bedeviled us, but by divine intervention Nigeria must be delivered. We are sure that in this crusade God Almighty will do something new in the life of participants and the country.  A new experience of peace and joy will come their way because when God determines to do a thing, nothing can stop Him, for He is the Sovereign God and the only One that says it and it comes to reality.

As the Pastor leads the people to God, the supernatural anointing that accompanies his messages will break every yoke of the enemies that causes sorrow in their lives and their sorrow shall be turned to joy.
