Akubueze urges Igbo to join Igboburuotu, says they care for less-privileged

Rita Akubueze, (Madam Longrich) a member of Longrich, an international network marketing organisation and also a member of Igboburuotu has called on the Igbos to join Igboburuotu Social Club, an association known for its philanthropic activities.

Akubueze made the call at the monthly meeting of the club which took place at Rainbow Hall, Fire Junction, Ijegun Lagos on Saturday.

She said her experience with the group within one year of her membership was amazing. “I have been here for just one year but I feel so happy with this group, because I have seen what they are doing. In fact, when I first came, I came because this is an Igbo organisation, so I wanted to like talk to the people with my product and see if I can assist them, but when I saw what they are doing I was so happy, and I decided to join, and I am super excited being with them. 

“What they are doing is nice and I encourage all the Igbos, matured people that care for the interest of other people to join the group, they will benefit a lot; they care for the widows, they care for the less privileged, they care for people that need help, especially the Igbos, they put them in mind in whatever they do. They are here to help, so it is good, I encourage everybody to join, there are a whole lot to benefit,” Akubueze stated.

Akubueze who said Longrich is eight years now in Nigeria, added that the company empowers people both in health and in wealth.

She spoke further, “I join the association of Ndigboburuotu last year, basically I am one year old here, I think I enjoy what they are doing. We are here basically to assist people, work for the interest of the Igbos, and again they also help the police people, because they say police is our friend, our able chairman Presido, he encourages us to trust the police, at least when you are doing what is right you are not afraid, you don’t fear the police, they become your friend, you work together.”

On the honour done her by Igboburuotu she said, “I feel excited, the award was done in December last year, but I wasn’t around, but today they decided to present the award to me, I am super excited, I am happy, I am so humbled. I thank God for today, it is not by my power, it is not that I do something special, I don’t know but they picked me up and said okay, because you decided on your own to assist people, to empower people to make money.

“Our business in Longrich, we enrich people through our products, I am so happy,” Akubueze stated.

Akubueze was presented with Distinguished Entrepreneur Award for her investment initiatives in Nigeria which have created opportunities and employment for the youths and commitment to Igboburuotu.

Another illustrious Nigerian, W/INSPR Mononfolu Mujidat of Isheri Oshun Division of Nigeria Police Force was also honoured for her immense dedication to her job.
